First female Chief Justice of Nigeria

It is not of them to decide, fate has already wish it so but they became the instrument of fate, that Justice Aloma will be the first female CJN in Nigeria.

Finally, the Senate has confirmed Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN). Justice Dahiru Musdapher her predecessor was retiring and a better hand is needed, the cap fits Justice Aloma. All things being equal, Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar would be sworn-in next week Monday. Could this lady be the magic wand that will purge the corruption in the judiciary?

During her screening exercise she echoes what we all hope could be the hope much awaited. In her words, “there is corruption in the judiciary just like every aspect of the society. The most important thing is to curb it and lead by example and ensure that others follow. One other thing I would do is to embark on internal cleansing of the entire system.” Let’s hope that the hand that changes diapers will eventually change our nation and maybe the world. Welcome to a new era, we look forward to mothers showing example. May Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar become our Daniel who came to judgement. Congratulation to you, Mama Justice. Compliment from SHE Foundation
